Stanton 8005A Gyropoise turntable with original Unipoise tone arm and Stanton 681EEE mm phono cartridge. Tone arm is a unipivot design. The turntable uses a 3 point suspension for the platter and tone arm. This is a common design use by many other turntable manufacturers. What is unique is the use of a magnetic bearing system for the platter instead of the usual ball bearing. This system uses two circular magnets near the center of the platter arranged to repel each other. This floats the platter. making the spinning extremely low noise, friction free and providing excellent isolation from the environment. As a result motor noise is non-existent. Startup is fast. Technics SP10MK3 turntable with EPA100MK2 Boron tonearm. The turntable works fine electronically. Physical condition is fair. Whatever faults there are are just cosmetic. The motor unit itself looks good. The silver is still nice and shiny except for a few minor scratches. The worse scratch is on the top left of the turntable. The tonearm is missing the headshell and also the small plastic disc covering the top of the tonearm post. There is also a slight play in the bearings of the tonearm. (The slight play has been fixed. The bearings is now smooth and tight as it should be)  There is a 2 inch crack on the rear right side of the cover. It has been mended so it is not likely to get worse or break off. The finish on the base is flaking off especially on the right front corner. The power supply works fine but have some scratches. Most of it being on the top. This is a heavy turntable. Well Tempered Turntable with original tonearm. This is a design that has seem to go against the grain of typical turntable designs. For one, there is such a large play in the spindle that the entire platter can tilt to one side when it is stationery. But once it starts spinning, it centers itself like a spinning top. An obvious advantage would be that contact between the well and spindle is reduce to a point. This is unlike typical design where the spindle contact a large surface of the well in which it sits. And when the platter spins it generates more noise than the Well-Tempered approach. The other unusual technique is in the design of the tonearm. It is hung on a thread, and the assembly sits in a bath of high viscosity silicone. All in, an unusual turntable offering good sound at an affordable S$950. Cartridge not included. Sold

A rare single platter Keith Monk record cleaning machine. Condition is good, except for the tubing that carries cleaning fluid to the brush. The hollow stub that is connected to the tubing is broken. But then again most of these machine have this part broken. Even with those machine where this part is still intact, the manual pumps for the cleaning fluid never work. A hand held bottle of cleaning fluid with manual spray will suffice. The inside is clean and still working with its original pump. The suction is not as strong as when using a modern hospital grade pump but is strong enough to do the job. S$1350. Sold

Good , working condition Keith Monk  Record Cleaning Machine. The best there is for taking care of your precious vinyls. This unit is a more recent model compared to the others I have come across. The MDF box shows little sign of water damage unlike most units. The torque on the turntables is very high.  Almost broke my thumb trying to stop the spinning platters. This is unlike my own personal unit which sometime requires a push start to get the platter spinning. The air pump has been recently replaced with a medical grade unit. This is important as all the original pumps in the Keith Monks I have come across were all worn out with very low air pressure.  This unit is available for $1500. Sold

  Garrard 301 Turntable. The classic grease- bearing version. This unit has a fresh coat of paint and looks great in a solid birch wood plinth. It is precut to accept a SME 9" arm. The only caveat is that the  platter is that of a Garrard 401. The two platters are visually identical accept that 301's top surface is flat whereas the 401's has a centre depression to better support an LP.  $1200. Sold 13th Aug
